History of Oak Lodge

2018
Our CEO Shaf noticed a lack of organisations to support adults with additional needs with the transition from school to the real world. So we opened our first day centre in High Wycombe. Source Care then became a health and social care company with a day centre for young adults to access the community and participate in a variety of activities.
2019
We moved the day centre into the Chilterns Centre to provide a more accessible location to our clients, allowing them to access a much wider range of activities with easier access routes into the local community.

2021
Due to the success of the day centre, in 2021 we reduced our service to focus on the day centre and re-branded to Oak Lodge, for adults with additional needs, focusing on supporting individuals to be as independent as possible.
2016
We started as a small health and social care recruitment agency (Source Care) to address the high demand in Buckinghamshire for skilled qualified care workers. We offered free CDP-accredited training and qualifications to suitable candidates, that were equivalent to NVQ Level 2, preparing them to work in care. We were then able to provide staff to local care providers.
2025
When the Chiltern Centre was scheduled to close we managed to secure a permanent home, with significantly more space, based close to the town centre. We can support many more clients and now offer a wider range of activities than ever before.
