Volunteering
We have found that volunteering provides several benefits to our clients, including increased self-esteem and independence. Check out our full blog or our care home case study.
Not only does volunteering benefit the volunteers, but for the organisations it can also bring fresh perspectives, enhance workplace culture, and contribute to business's growth and resilience:

Receive Ongoing Support and Guidance from Oak Lodge
You won’t be alone in the process. Oak Lodge provides support to help businesses prepare for and work with volunteers effectively, ensuring a beneficial experience for both parties. This includes understanding the unique needs of each individual, finding suitable roles within your business, and ensuring volunteers have access to the necessary resources and support.
-
Any length of time within the working day will be considered, no matter how short, to suit your business.
-
This can be regular or a one-off.
-
Volunteers are constantly supervised by our trained staff either 1:1 or 2:1.
-
We conduct a risk assessment for each organisation and our public liability insurance covers our staff and clients while on your property.
-
We can match you with a volunteer who takes account of the tasks required and the volunteer’s abilities as well as your physical set (stairs etc).
Our aim is to have the maximum impact on clients and staff with minimum disruption to your business.
