Oak Lodge were delighted to be invited back to Chiltern Wood School for another successful Professionals Fayre for SEND children and their families.
These fayres have proven to be useful for families of SEND children of all ages, some getting ready for their child imminently transitioning to other services and for other families whose children may be much younger. It is a good opportunity for parents to pop along to understand the different opportunities that may be available for their children in the future.
At Oak Lodge, we feel privileged to be able to talk about the opportunities we provide as well as impart knowledge of other services available in the local area, answering questions and generally chatting about the challenges families are facing through transitioning. We often get to add future clients to our waiting lists for the coming years.
It was also a brilliant opportunity for us to network and find out more about the many other wonderful organisations in the local area who may be able to provide us with services that our users may be interested in, plus it is always lovely to catch up with people we may not have seen for some time!
